angles of refraction

refraction : The process by which the direction of light changes as it passes obliquely from one medium to another in which its speed is different.
angle of refraction : The angle between a refracted ray and a line perpendicular to the surface between the two media at the point of refraction.

Did You Know?



i) The earth has two holes at the top and bottom.
ii) Viewed from on top in Google Earth, it looks like a giant eyeball.

lol. Apparently they clip the sat images at both poles. So all that's displayed there is a BIG black hole.


Behold the eye-ball.
